Founded in 1974 by Kevin McCormick, Empire Masonry Corp is a well-respected family-owned company with a solid reputation for quality work, integrity, results-oriented management, safe working conditions and projects successfully completed on time and on budget. Empire has operated for 47 years as a union contractor, utilizing the skilled members of the Bricklayers’ and Labors’ Unions of Eastern and Central Mass.

In 2010 Kevin retired, and his son, Tom McCormick, assumed the role of President of the corporation. He has continued to build strong and successful working relationships with many of the largest architectural and general contracting firms in the Northeast to deliver a quality project of any size and complexity to the satisfaction of its owners.

Empire specializes primarily in the new construction of schools, colleges and universities, healthcare, municipal, public safety and residential buildings incorporating brick, natural stone, concrete masonry units and decorative block, and various other masonry products. Contracts range in value from $100,000 to $7,000,000.
